Mathieu Crepel takes the Cake at 2nd annual Transfer Banked Slalom
So you have all heard of Banked Slaloms, there a few major ones. After 30+ years of existence and only increasing popularity Australia got the gist and decided it was time. The second annual Transfer Banked Slalom at Thredbo popped off! The treacherous course appeared to be no joke. Board control, power, flow, and of course.. speed were a must. And when the spray stopped flying, and snowboard bases were bare of any residual wax that was once a glimmer of competitive edge, it was Gnu’s Mathieu Crepel on the directional, asymmetric, stance-specific Zoid on the top of the podium. Congrats Mat! See the recap, results and video here!
